Ingredients for Chole

  • 1 cup chickpeas (kabuli chana), soaked overnight
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 teaspoons coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon amchur (dry mango) powder
  • 1 teaspoon chole masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Ingredients for Bhature

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1/4 cup semolina (rava)
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Oil for deep frying

How to Make Chole Bhature

Boil chickpeas and prepare a spicy masala. Combine and simmer with spices. Serve with hot and fluffy bhature made from fermented dough, deep-fried to perfection. Enjoy this delightful combination of chole and bhature.
